Finance
- Bar take up £8500 in 4 months, margins holding well.
- Membership fantastic, wasn’t expecting tat much.
- Wages up due to more functions and minimum pay rise.
- Still paying £250 into refurb fund.
- Need to pay lifetime members money over to trust.
- Last 2 months took over £11,000 each.
Entertainments
- Noasis was a very good night, £3500 bar take.
- The Seventh House was a good night, PRS visited with regards to royalties.
- Abba tribute are starting to sell.
- Funday coming on well, more helpers than normal.
Bar
- Need to have a staff meeting.
- Had letter from Orchard players regarding Summer show closures, they are doing 2 extra performances this year – Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon. Wednesday could be a problem with pool so we will only shut the hall end of the family bar.
- Rumor has it that we are doing random drugs tests. Don’t want to rekindle the fire but need to sort it out as this could damage our reputation after taking us a long time to get back up and running.
- Ian Love suggested that if anything got put on social media, no committee member should respond to it.
- We had a good stocktake.
- Next refurb meeting is this Thursday 24th Should get final quotes and hoping to see if we can start on 16th August.
Trust Report
- Refurb fund is currently £13,555 and trust will put in a big chunk.
- Trust are doing well, hall hire holding up nicely.
- Bought new gazebos for funday costing £2000, better quality so will last longer.
- They have got a quote for air conditioning in the library at £2500, will probably be roughly the same for the vine lounge, the have allocated £5000 so will probably get it done.
- Sandra Bumphry has resigned and will work til the end of august.
Any Other Business
- Mark Rawthorn said if we want The Bohemians next year, we need to book them now. It was decided that they were too expensive so will have to look for another tribute act.
